We understand that organizing a funeral gathering is never easy, and we’re here to ensure that your post funeral reception is as stress-free as possible during this difficult time. Our dedicated event space, The Elm Room, can cater for funeral receptions of 40 to 90 people. This event space is completely private and separate to the main bar area. You’ll be surrounded by your loved ones in complete privacy while you cherish memories and tell stories while our expert team look after you.
The Elm Room is a bright spacious room which is fully equipped with a private bar. We’re also well aware that each funeral reception has different needs and we’re on hand to help in any way that we possibly can. There are ample amounts of free car parking spaces on site too so there’s no need to worry about finding a spot. Or alternatively, there are plenty of Dublin bus routes including include the 52, C1, C2, C3 and the C4 that leave you only a stone’s throw away. When it comes to dining, we provide a wide range of finger food for funeral receptions with catering options from Wowburger and Elephant & Castle. We can arrange these to be served at whichever time is most convenient for you and ensure that this service runs smoothly during your post-funeral gathering. We can also provide sandwiches, tea and coffee upon request.

We’ve got medium platters and larger platters available. Both of these serve 10 people. Our medium food platter includes 10 mini burgers, 5 portions of chips, 3 portions of onion rings and 6 dipping sauces. Then our large platter includes 10 mini burgers, 5 portions of chips, 3 large chicken bites, 3 portions of onion rings and 6 dipping sauces. And of course, we’re able to change any of our burgers to vegetarian or vegan burgers upon request. We’ve also go a few event packages from Elephant & Castle too if you would go down that route.

This platter is seriously popular and is perfect for a funeral reception. Good portions and an amazing quality of food.
We recommend this is plenty to suit 4 people and you can choose any 5 of the following options: Spicy chicken wings, chicken strips, cocktail sausages, beef burger sliders, vegetarian sliders, hand-cut fries, tortilla chips or onion rings. 4 dips are also included in the price.
