Christening at The Foxhunter
The Elm Room really is a fitting venue for all kinds of christening parties South Dublin. This bright, vibrant and spacious room can comfortably accommodate 40-90 people and we can arrange the room whichever way you like to ensure that your baby’s special day is a memorable occasion for all the family. This is the first milestone of many for your new-born child, and we’re hoping that it won’t be your last one with us once you step inside this gorgeous space. Getting there is never an issue either! We’ve got more than enough parking spaces and there are plenty of Dublin bus routes including include the 52, C1, C2, C3 and the C4 that leave you only a stone’s throw away. Christening reception venues in Dublin can be hard to come by, but The Elm Room can cater for all kinds of christening parties. As well as this, if you want to bring in your own decorations then please feel free to and we’ll do our best to help you arrange everything and make this day as smooth as possible for you! .
When it comes to food and beverage for your christening reception, we’ve got a fully stocked private bar and we can be fully flexible with your dining requirements offering a range of platters from Wowburger and Elephant & Castle. What more could you want for a christening – amazing food prepared fresh by our talented chefs using only the finest ingredients.

We’ve got medium platters and larger platters available. Both of these serve 10 people, depending on how hungry you are! Our medium food platter includes 10 mini burgers, 5 portions of chips, 3 portions of onion rings and 6 dipping sauces. Then our large platter includes 10 mini burgers, 5 portions of chips, 3 large chicken bites, 3 portions of onion rings and 6 dipping sauces. And of course, we’re able to change any of our burgers to vegetarian or vegan burgers upon request. We’ve also go a few event packages too if you wanted to go down that route! This is the perfect way to make it as easy as possible to get the drinks flowing and the party started!

Elephant and Castle Event Menu
This platter is seriously popular and is perfect for birthday bashes for any age group. Good portions and an amazing quality of food – what more could you want for your birthday celebration! You can choose any 5 of the following options: Spicy chicken wings, chicken strips, cocktail sausages, beef burger sliders, vegetarian sliders, hand-cut fries, tortilla chips or onion rings. 4 dips are also included in the price. So if you need a bit of soakage during your birthday then you’re spoilt for choice!
